Duncan Goldie-Scot brings a wealth of experience co-founding startups in both finance and health across the globe. He pioneered the use of mobile payments in microfinance institutions (MFIs) in East Africa. He co-founded and is now a director of Musoni BV, an MFI holding company in The Netherlands and of Musoni Kenya Ltd in Nairobi, Kenya. It is the first MFI that is 100% cashless: all disbursements and repayments use mobile payment services such as M-PESA. Before starting in microfinance, Duncan ran his own publishing company and also wrote about emerging market banking and finance.
